Google’s Nexus Flagship will have Multiple device manufacturers starting Fall 2012, reports WSJ

Samsung has a chance to make 2 Nexus Flagship devices by Google, Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S, HTC had one, Nexus One.

Google is now changing tracks an reportedly be allowing multiple manufacturers to build the Nexus phones starting Fall 2012. We can expect 5 devices to be launched by 5 different manufacturers will all different specification and features.

Google also plans to sell the gadgets directly to consumers in the U.S., Europe and Asia through its website, and potentially through some retailers, this person said.
