Facebook, is the greatest social networking site and a marketing tool today, with a record number of users. If we talk in terms of revenues Facebook is growing, faster like never before. Created by Mark Zuckerburg from his Dorm Room at Harvard, Facebook has become one of the most reputed brand and every business wants to collaborate with it. Looking at the figures, we can easily say that Facebook will be bigger than Google in five years barring any disaster or accidents.
Facebook Advertising is not a direct competitor of Google AdSense or Adwords. While advertising on internet, organization get confused with so many places to reach consumers but Facbook fixes their problem.
People around the globe search, browse, listen to music, videos, everything on Facebook. Facebook revenues comes mainly from cross-promotions; Facebook is collaborating with Microsoft, Zynga, and Amazon or may be even Google.
Facebook also has option to block any one of them but the factor is to join not block. It is not working like web ecosystem but running a cycle of cross promotion and doing advertising and commercializing both at the same time.
