We’ve discarded our traditional telephones lines since about 3 years now and every type of communication practically happens via Mobile Phones. Well, we do have Wireless Local Loop Phones (Telephone-Mobile Hybrid) but not as personal as phone.
We needed something that could address the Phone’s ever-concerning radiation issue and reduce the heating of the phone on that long call (lasting 2-3 hours), So, We Googled and found this wonderful product by MobileFun called iClooly, contacted them and they were kind enough to send us a review unit to test it out.

Unboxing
The Box is pretty stylish itself, While color a lá Apple graphics and more
When we opened that box, we saw this, the products were concealed in a plastic casing. The box also has a manual and the following accessories.
- A Handsfree traditional Phone receiver.
- A Telephone Jack to 3.5mm Spiral Cable.
- A Stylus cum Pen.
- An Aluminium Stand with sticky material on the front, to hold your phone.
- Manual.
The aluminium looks brushes and the quality seems to be at par with Apple’s Macbook Uni-body quality, the telephone hand-set also a great quality material. The Phone placement area had a plastic covering which had to be removed, had a sticky material on it to hold your phone firmly.
The Stylus pen has one side Rubbery soft material to be used as a Stylus on your Capacitive phone screens while the side is a ball pen.
The left side of the stand has a wire-clip to hold the wire that gets connected from the handsfree to your phone.
By the first looks, The iClooly Phonestand looks like an old-fashioned desk phone. The base is made of anodized aluminum and white plastic. The handset is made of white and silver plastic.
We measured the base at almost 3 inch wide X 7.5 inch long X 2.5 inch tall at the back. The spiral/coiled cable is 17 inch long while it stretches to about 40 inches, but BEWARE, don’t do it as the base isn’t heavy enough to hold steady while the wire is under much tension.
The base has a Stylus holding hole, where you can rest your stylus, convenient enough to hold the stylus at a position easily accessible.
You can practically place any phone with a 3.5mm Jack, we tried the iPhone that fits perfectly, then, we tried Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos and that fit well too, but large screen phones would be difficult to fit vertically, so you can place them horizontally as well. 
Since, the connection to the 3.5” jack is on the top, this is how you can connect the phone to The iClooly PhoneStand, now whenever a phone call arrives, One can pick up the telephone handsfree rather than the Phone.
Since the iPhone has a charging connector at the bottom you can run your charging cable under the iClooly PhoneStand and connect it from the other end, for Most Android phones, the connector is at the Top, which also is an easier option, you just have to run the cable below the Phone headset.
The Base
The Base is a sturdy Anodised Aluminium-Plastic combination, which is elegant and strong, and gives the phone a nice angle to use it. The top section has 2 plastic hold, where you can place the handsfree, while the black part you see below, is where you can place your phone, it is adhesive so that the phone doesn’t slip off.
Stylus
The Stylus is an added advantage to the product, it helps in using the phone while it is on the stand and acts as an actual pen from the other side.
So one side is a soft-rubbery Phone stylus and the other side is an Actual Pen.
It is made up of what looks like Steel and has a Plastic cap attached to it along with a string to hang it on your phone.
Advantages:
- No Radiation from the Phone when on Call.
- The Handsfree doesn’t get heated up even after a 3 hour-long call.
- Screen is accessible to you when you’re on Call.
- You can have you phone being charged even on a call.
- Worth a buy if you don’t like wearing Bluetooth handsfree.
Disadvantages:
- You can hangup the phone by placing it on the stand, you have to manually hang up the phone via the screen.
- You can not have a phone of the larger height on the stand vertically, incase you have a large screen phone, you will have to place it horizontally.
