OgilveOne, Singapore has done an exceptional job in recreating the Saga of Ramayan in what they call is a Chrome experiment.

It has to be the one of the best and concise depiction of this Ancient Indian Sanskrit Epic. The Tale is divided in 5 Episodes and for the tech savvy guys, it’s not in Flash, pure HTML5.

The First Episode of Google Ramayana

The first Episode is where the challenge takes place where Rama has to pick up the Sacred Bow to Win the contest Sita Father, the King has up for the winner can get married to this beautiful daughter, Sita, all of the participants, best of the warriors try and fail but Rama picks it up and Wins Sita

Then it shows a Google product search for the Bow

Then the interactiveness kicks in, you have to scroll UP to lift the BOW and win the contest

The Second Episode of Google Ramayana

The second episode begins with the Abduction of Princess Sita by Evil Rama in revenge of Rama dissing Rawana’s sister even after she seducing him.

Rama is in the Forest Shooting Deers and yet again, the interactiveness come in, you have to Aim the deer and shoot him.

Rawana comes to the Forest with his sister and abducts Sita and the tale to rescue Sita begins.

The Third Episode of Google Ramayana

White Monkey aka Hanuman, the Monkey God, is being sent to where Rawana’s Empire is to see if Sita has been kept there and to his delight Hanuman finds her and sings to her saying that he is sent by Rama to rescue her, in the mean time, one of the soldier’s capture Hanuman and bring him in Rawana’s court where they decide to burn him alive starting with his Tail.

Once they fire his tail, he runs away and burn the entire Empire of Rawana down, interactive-ness again jumps in where you are responsible to burn the Empire down while Hanuman’s tail is on fire, using your mouse.

The Fourth Episode of Google Ramayana

Finally, Hanuman comes back to the fort, after burning down half of Rawana’s territory and then informs Rama, Sita’s Messages that she will only come back when Rama comes to take her, the quest begins and the monkey builds a bridge across the oceans so that they can go through to the land of Rawana, here you have the pieces of bridge to connect them so that the army can pass.

The Fifth Episode of Google Ramayana

The Great war, that begins between the Rama and Rawana’s Army, here you have to pull Rama Bow and aim at Rawana and kill him, while Hanuman hit him with a Mountainous stone.

and Voila!! Everything Sorted!
