PayMate, on of India’s leading online payment company has entered a alliance with Nokia to get NFC Payment (a la Google Wallet) in India. They’ve developed a unique solution that enables easy display, delivery, and purchase of goods and services using NFC.
Perviously, Nokia introduced it’s NFC enabled devices, Nokia 700 and Nokia 701, with a popular TV commercial to promote their Technology along with the Bollywood Movie Ra.One, where uses could transfer contents such as ringtones, games, wallpapers with their NFC enabled Nokias
NFC looks a promising technology and if Payment with NFCs are successful it will be Huge! Customers could purchase an item by simply tapping their NFC enabled device against an NFC enabled tag on an item they wish to purchase. After they receive the information about the item the customer can then choose to go ahead and select the item for purchase.
