Google+ pushes major redesign update a day before Facebook New News Feed Announcement

Google has done it again with Google+ just pushed a major revamp look for its Social networking site to Google+ profile and pages.

The new update makes cover photos much larger than before, giving you the chance to make your featured image or message really standout! According to Sara McKinley of Google,

“We spend lots of time listening to your feedback, and today we’re launching some profile and page updates that you’ve been asking for… Everything’s rolling out gradually, so check back soon if you don’t see it yet. Once it’s live (at plus.google.com/me), let us know your thoughts in the comments!”

The new update has:

Bigger Cover photos

Cover photos just got a crazy bigger with a better aspect ratio than before (up to 2120px by 1192px), and they display in 16×9 when fully expanded.

Local Reviews Tab

Google has added a new tab for your Local Reviews, You can now highlight your favourite restaurant and see review as they unfold. You can also hide this tab from the settings.

Editing Info on Google+ has become way more easier

The new About tab now consist of separate cards for carious info.

Your Story, Places, Education, basic Information, links and more, each has its own card and its own edit link, plus you can decide which card will be visible publicly and which ones can be kept private to yourself

Pretty welcoming change.
