We came across this beautiful looking in-ear headphones and considering the price factor it had, we thought, this will be a good option for our readers and guess what, we weren’t disappointed.
Tekfusion Technologies are the newest entrants into the acoustics arena, it’s an Indian brand with the quality in terms of design and output, far better than the ones you have around the globe, keeping the segment they are in.
So, lets begin the review for Tekfusion Twinwoofers in-ear Headphones
First Look and Box Content
The in-ear headphones we received for this review by Tekfusion Technologies came by mail in a neatly packed white box with a transparent plastic casing and there were the Twinwoofers in-ear headphones. When we unboxed it, we found:

Once we got the headphones out of the box, our first impression was “WOW”, they’re beautiful! they’ve been crafted very well and look impressive.
The ear-pieces are a bit heavier since they are a ‘all metal housing construction’ to cut out the resonance, all gloss finish makes it really  good-looking but prone to scratches soon, the opposite end of the ear piece where the Tekfusion logo is, is glass/pastic which may develop scratches over time, but it hardly matters since only a careful examination can point it out.
The ear-tips are of great quality and fit in ear-canals, as stated before, there are 5 pairs of it to select from, you can choose the optimal one to ward off the external noise and enjoy high quality music, in-addition to that, you can use them to listen to music for hours without any discomfort.
It includes a cable clip that has been designed in a way that it can take off the weight from the headphones and they won’t fall off your ear.
At the other end is a 3.5 mm gold-plated TRS connector and the best part is, it is right-angled, which a lot of people want their headphones to have, simply because of the ease of use with MP3 players, Smartphones and Laptop, the straight connect becomes a reason for a lot of headphone buyers to reject them.
In terms of Comfort, the ear-tips that came attached with the headphones co-incidentally suited perfectly to my ear, but you can select your sizes as there is a variety to choose from, one of our reviewers did try the triple flange, since he wasn’t used to it, he felt a bit uncomfortable, reason being, it was the first time he was trying them, I, wouldn’t mind using them.
Pro Tip: Select the best suited ear-tip, attach the cable clip to your shirt/t-shirt to avoid the headphone falling off your ears.
Sound Quality: Rating 4.5/5
We compared various headphones along with the Tekfusion Twinwoofers namely, SkullCandy, Apple in-ear headphones, Sennheiser CX 180 and found that most of the what Twinwoofers has to offer is better, considering the Bass and Highs, but there were some trade-off at the Mids and Lows. We tested it with different tracks (FLAC) of various genre:
- House
- Trance
- Rock
- Classic
- Dance
- Pop
- Indian Classical
- Electro
- Jazz
- Hiphop
Honestly, when we started playing on, it wasn’t that impressive, the Bass wasn’t that good and the highs/mids separation wasn’t that awesome, Fast-forward 50 hours of Playback, and voilà ! The Bass started kicking-in the highs/mids started to improve, what happened? the headphones were burned-in (Know more about Burning-in).
We call it a Bass Blasting Machine!
The noise cancellation is amazing on the Twinwoofers with almost zero ambient noise due to the in-ear canal headphone along with the ear-buds that come with it.
You will like them when you’re on a moderate bit rate songs, but once you above that, you will start to love Tekfusion Twinwoofers.
The Highs are clear, the mids are wonderful and the Bass is outstanding!

Just a piece of advice, if you want to use this headphones with a low-range MP3 players and devices and then crib about the review or the quality of headphones, we would advice not to buy them, but if you really want to enjoy your music with an almost affordable price tag without going in to the Beats by Dre segment, this one is a MUST BUY, especially with the goodies it comes with. It has an impactful Bass, crystal clear sound and above average noise-cancellation.
So if you’re thinking of buying a Sennheiser CX series, SoundMagic, Cygnett, SkullCandy, we would recommend buying this.
