This is one of the main reason I would buy an Android if I didn’t have one. Yes people, SNK Playmore have released a version of The King of Fighters on the Android platforms, titled The King of Fighters Android.
The Android version of the game include, Five modes of gameplay: “Team Battle” for classic KOF 3-on-3 battles, “Single Battle” for 1-on-1 fights, “Endless” mode for an endurance challenge with just one life, “Challenge” mode where players needs to complete a variety of character-specific tasks, and “Training” mode where players can practice the Virtual Pad-based controls and learn combos.
20 fighters battle from the original series, including Kyo Kusanagi, K’, Ash Crimson, and Billy Kane!
SNK included some bonus content too, in the form of unlock-able trading cards and original illustrations comprising of various art and character sketches. You can also find KOF Team novel stories from The King of Fighters XIII. These can be viewed in the Gallery mode and THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII and many more hidden treasures that fans can’t afford to miss.
The King of Fighters is compatible with the following devices:
- GalaxyS2
- Galaxy Tab 10.1
- Xperia Arc
- Xperia Play
It may work with other devices as well, but hasn’t been tested yet. KOF costs $4.99 and is available at the Google Play Store.
