Blackberry unveiled BlackBerry P’9981, formerly know as the BlackBerry Bold R47 and BlackBerry Knight.
P’9981 was spotted back in September 2011, some called it concept phone some said it was fake, but no one actually realize that it was the exclusive Porsche-Blackberry tie-up phone called the Blackberry P’9981 which was unveiled in Dubai this week.
The BlackBerry P’9981 will be sporting a 1.2 GHz processor, HD video capture and 8GB of native storage that can be pumped up to 40GB using a microSD card. The phone is NFC enabled and running on BlackBerry 7 OS or maybe even BBX.
PRICE(hold your breath):Â $2,000 (Approx. 1,00,000 INR)
For that price, you’ll get an exclusive PIN that begins with “2AA,” so at lease people will know you’re awesome. Also, if people are buying an iPhone 4S 64GB in India for about US$ 2000+, there will be quite a few buyers for this one as well.
The Phone will be available in the 4th quarter of this year 2011, so not a long wait for people who want to buy it, but mind you it is downright “restrictive.” and won’t be available to everyone.
